Hardy’s Coffee Bar: A Crafted Coffee Experience in Downtown Flemington

Nestled on Bloomfield Avenue off Main Street, Hardy’s Coffee Bar energizes the Flemington downtown scene with craft coffee in an artisan atmosphere. Not only does this family business serve single-source coffee that they roast locally, but they also immerse you in a complete experience that blends an urban-chic setting with authentic preparation and loyal service. You’ll discover an intimate oasis where coffee connoisseurs can relax, meet, mingle or work.

  • Membership Has Its Perks. You don’t have to be a member to check out Hardy’s — just ring the bell. But you may love the experience so much that membership will be a no-brainer. Membership perks extend beyond the automatic entrance “key”— though really, you had us at dachshund-dog-shaped key fob! Members also get deals like $1 off drip Coffee, 5% off retail items and access to the member’s menu as well as members-only special events. These bonuses all come with a yearly membership of just $9.
  • Locally Roasted, Ethically Sourced Craft Coffee. Hardy’s roasts small batches of high-quality beans as part of the new “third wave” of coffee. All of their beans are sourced from single-origin plantations (often family-owned). Then they are locally roasted at Danielle and Peach Hardy’s roastery before being shipped to serve at their coffee bar. Not a coffee lover, not a problem. The coffee bar offers a variety of exotic teas like tangerine ginger, hibiscus berry and black vanilla as well as traditionalist faves like chai to temp your tea-loving palette. And for the chocoholic, well, everyone knows you cannot beat a creamy hot cocoa made from Flemington’s own Fudge Shop cocoa mix.
  • Filtered Water Ensures Pure Taste. Hardy’s Coffee Bar uses a specially designed filtration system that curates water without impurities yet leaves in select minerals to make more rounded, better-tasting coffee. In addition, the barista serves your cup of coffee on a wooden tray alongside a glass of ultra-filtered, purified water to cleanse your palette. And the aesthetic pleasure of a rich cup of coffee next to a crystal clear glass of water is certainly Instagram-worthy.
  • Small Business Relationships Add Local Flavor. Hardy’s Coffee Bar is owned by Hunterdon County Residents Danielle and Peach Hardy, who have a vision to perk up Flemington with a little caffeine lovingly prepared and served.
