Flemington’s Holiday Season Wrap-up 2021!

Largest contest participation ever, and lots of winners!
This year, while COVID-19 impacted our ability to host our annual large events like the Holiday Parade and Thursday Night Holiday Lights, Flemington continued our traditions of inspired decorations festooning homes, businesses and public spaces. Love Flemington’s reimagined line-up of smaller scaled events designed to support our local businesses were met with enthusiasm and appreciation by all. THANK YOU for your support! Highlights include:
Santa’s Mailbox
The traffic at Santa’s Mailbox in front of the Historic Courthouse on Main Street was brisk! Our mail stop received well over 200 letters to Santa from local children according to the North Pole mail sorting center.
Flemington Passport Winners!
Our first Flemington Penguin Passport was a great success! Over 100 businesses participated in stamping passports, indicating that a purchase was made in the month of December. We are very excited to have stimulated so much local spending throughout the borough! Congratulations Sarah Fox of Flemington winner of the $500 Gift Certificate! Sarah will split the prize between her favorite restaurants: Market Roost, 55 Main, Matt’s Red Rooster, JS Shaker Cafe and Viva Mexico.  Kelly Iwashko of Flemington and Angelo and Dolores Pompeo of Flemington each won a $100 gift certificate and both winners requested their favorite restaurant, Platform One. Kathryn Tchopp of Hopewell won a $100 gift certificate to Shaker Cafe which she is looking forward to sharing with her family.
