Flemington Kids and Pets Costume Parade
Flemington was over run with little ghosts and ghouls this past Thursday October 29th for the 2026 Kids and Pets Costume Parade. Court Street Park transformed into "Pumpkin Park" overnight to welcome all costumed visitors in. Families gathered around the gazebo as each child participating in the contest paraded around the park in their corresponding categories.
Families enjoyed a free photobooth courtesy of Black Lab Imaging and took home physical copies of their photos. The DJ, Showoff Productions, set up in the Gazebo and spun spooky tracks to dance to and set the mood in the park before the contest began.
Any child feeling overwhelmed was able to visit the inclusive "safe table" organized by local pediatric therapy practice, "Speech in Reach". The Costume Contest began by introducing the judges, which were business owners of local family friendly businesses such as The Play Place NJ, Epic Dance Company, and Chirp Workshop, as well as a popular local police officer. Contest Winners took home prizes provided by local Borough Businesses and a fabulous trophy created by Flemington's own: The Flemington 3-D Lab. This short and sweet community Halloween event is a Flemington favorite and we look forward to hosting our party in the park next year!
