The Flemington Improvement District (FID) is dedicated to cultivating a vibrant, prosperous business community that drives economic growth in the Borough of Flemington. As the steward of Flemington’s business districts, we represent more than 450 businesses across three distinct commercial areas: Historic Main Street, Stangl Arts & Culture, and the Circle Shopping District. Together, these districts form the economic and cultural backbone of the Borough.

By strategically marketing the Borough’s economic and commercial assets, forging dynamic partnerships, conducting cultural and heritage programs, stewarding streetscape improvement, and championing business recruitment, growth, and retention, we create an environment where businesses flourish, opportunities expand, and the community prospers. 

Governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees and supported by dedicated staff and community partners, the FID operates as a bridge between business owners, property owners, municipal leadership, and residents.
