Flemington Spotlight: Mother and daughter duo Dayna and Lauren Riley opened 39 Mine Boutique in September of 2013. As a little girl, daughter Lauren loved playing dress-up and used to make her little brother wear her Cinderella costume! Lauren graduated with a major in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in Business and wasn’t entirely sure what she wanted to do for a career. Dayna Riley, Lauren’s mom, had 15 years of retail experience owning a card and gift shop and was driven, creative, and business savvy when it came to running a shop.. So, it was only natural that the mother-daughter duo open their own clothing boutique together!
39 Mine is known for its on-trend clothing and accessories at affordable prices in a beautiful boutique setting!
They have just relocated their store to a much larger, stunningly repurposed iconic Stangl building at 50 Stangl Road. The new store is just a hop, skip and a jump from their former location where you will find an expanded collection of clothes, accessories, jewelry and gifts and plenty of parking.
Lauren and Dayna have built a loyal customer base in Flemington over the years. Their ultimate goal is to make people happy, whether they help women curate the perfect outfit or they help the local community.
Lauren said, “Whenever we have events to support charities, our customers always come out in full force and are so happy to help. Everyone has been so excited for us to grow and expand into our new space!” The people of Flemington love to support small businesses, it is what makes our town so unique!
Fun Fact: The team at 39 Mine love to treat themselves by visiting their new neighbors at Blue Fish Grill, Platform One, Lone Eagle, and Scoops on Wheels for a treat after work.
