Plein Air Festival

Art•Venture Flemington will host a Plein Air Art Festival in Flemington borough’s historic district on Saturday, May 16th, 9 am to 4 pm. Artists are invited to paint throughout Flemington’s downtown area, and the public is invited to tour the historic district and see the artists in action, then mingle with the artists and see the finished artwork at a reception and auction. Ribbons will be awarded at the reception, and auction proceeds will be split between the artist, Art•Venture and the Flemington Historic Preservation Commission. Rain date is Sun, May 17th.
Artists check in between 8:30 and 9:30 am at Factory Fuel Co. Coffee House, 2 Stangl Rd, Flemington. Painting will then proceed until 4:00, followed by an exhibit, reception and auction from 5 to 7 pm in the atrium of the Old Egg Auction, 84 Park Ave, Flemington.
